The cottage is within walking distance to the historic village of Payzac (pictured below) where you can have a 5 course lunch (including wine) at one of the village restaurants for as little as 12euros!!
Why not take a stroll each morning to buy your fresh croissants for breakfast from one of the two excellent bakeries. The River Auvezere is a short walk away and is a popular spot for fishing.

The cottage is situated in approximately 4 acres of grounds which was once a working farm and the abode of a local dignitary - whose initials can be seen in the intricate wrought iron work on the master bedroom balcony .
The cottage is named 'Le Petit Vallon' because of its stunning hillside location - overlooking the 'little valley' and to the village beyond where you can see Payzac church tower. The owners Mike and Jenny live next door and (although respecting Guests' need for privacy) are 'on hand' if needed. The cottage is completely independent and has its own private parking area, washing line and garden..
